AFCEA CMD | Pickleball Tournament

Join us for the Inaugural AFCEA Central Maryland (CMD) “Summerball” Event, a chapter-level fundraiser, hosted by AFCEA CMD Women in AFCEA (WIA).

Enjoy networking over pickleball at all experience levels (i.e., tournament for experienced, open play for casual players & clinics for beginners) followed by awards, with drinks, dinner & fun throughout the event! Registration is first-come, first-serve.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America, offering a fun, healthy & safe activity that participants at any experience level can join in on & enjoy making lasting connections. Family, friends & spectators are also welcome for this exciting event!

All proceeds from this event benefit AFCEA CMD’s core mission to enable the intelligence missions of today and tomorrow through education and investment in talented people. We accomplish our goal by promoting the continuing education of current IC and DoD professionals, and supporting the education of future leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Each year, proceeds from our corporate sponsors and Chapter events enable us to award over $200,000 to qualified students and teachers through direct scholarship, endowment or grant.
