Military Moblie Power Summit
Increasing Sustainability & Lowering Cost: Renewable and Advanced Power Needs
**This Event Benefits the non-profit 501(c)3 The Wounded Warrior Project**
The DoD is the biggest institutional energy consumer in the world. Reducing the cost of power and energy needs is critical to the mission success across the services and two years ago, 450 renewable energy projects produced 9.6 percent of the DoD’s energy, just short of the National Defense Authorization Act goal of ten percent.
Today, the military’s continued investments in renewable energy and power, will aid to preserve lives on the battlefield, protect the nation’s security and save taxpayer money. Current policy requests for an increase in the DoD’s spending on renewables to $3 billion by 2015 and to over $10 billion per year by 2030.
DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summits' content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in alternative energy and mobile, tactical power from batteries to smart grids. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
