Two-day conference is free of charge to Government employees with opportunities for intensive, instructor-led training
In its 11th Year, the 2013 Enterprise Architecture Event continues to extend value to attendees by offering a high-caliber, two-day educational program -- free of charge to government employees. This two-day training event features over 14 sessions in two dedicated tracks: EA Practices and Segment Architectures. Government and industry experts will address topics related to the essential role Enterprise Architecture plays in enabling shared services throughout government. The conference will take place October 29-30 - while pre-event workshops will be conducted exclusively on Monday, October 28 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
Conference sessions will break down the best-practices and master strategies in using the Collaborative Planning Method (CPM), identifying shared service opportunities, implementing FEA and FEA Transition Frameworks, addressing segment architectures, determining the impact of federal shared service delivery models - and more. Attendees will have myriad of peer networking opportunities to engage with other Enterprise Architects in roundtable and case study panel discussions.
In addition to the conference, four pre-event workshops will be led by industry forerunners: FEAC, Wizdom and Zachman International. Full-day and half-day workshops are available to attend individually or as an add-on to full conference registration (for a fee). Workshops include: Enterprise Physics 101, Human Cultural and Emergent Factors in Enterprise Architecture, Using Process Model-Driven Business Architecture to Design Shared Services and Planning and Selecting Views and Models within the Common Approach of the FEAFII, the DoDAF and its DM2.
