Largest Annual Intelligence Gathering Offers Exciting Opportunities
Herndon, VA--The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) will host its tenth annual GEOINT Symposium October 13-16 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, FL.
As the nation's largest intelligence event of the year, GEOINT 2013 promises an agenda packed with dynamic keynote speakers, insightful panel discussions, training and education sessions, networking opportunities, and an exhibit hall showcasing the latest intelligence capabilities of more than 250 companies and organizations.
"Over the past 10 years, I've had the unique opportunity to experience the GEOINT Symposium from every angle: attendee, award winner, exhibitor, panelist, and now as CEO of USGIF," said Keith Masback. "It's been a remarkable journey since the earliest days in New Orleans. The Symposium serves as a common frame of reference, a shared set of experiences that rallies people around the idea of geospatial intelligence. The threads of every GEOINT Symposium are integral to the fabric that is the GEOINT Community."
The GEOINT 2013 theme is "Operationalizing Intelligence for Global Missions," and the proximity to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), and several allied and international coalition partners will facilitate heightened engagement with these audiences.
GEOINT 2013 kicks off Sunday, Oct. 13, with GEOINT Foreword, a pre-conference session dedicated to academics, innovation, and emerging technologies. Mr. Dave Snowden, Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Cognitive Edge, will serve as the keynote speaker at GEOINT Foreword.
