- NASCIO Annual Conference (October 11-14 Salt Lake City, UT) - The National Association of State Chief Information Officers represents the interests of state chief information officers and information technology executives and managers. This annual meeting brings together these professionals for a chance to share challenges and successes with one another and meet with the vendor community. This year's event is focused on "advancing smart government."
- AUSA Annual Meeting (October 12-14 Washington, DC) - The Association of the Army holds this event each year as one of the largest land warfare expositions and professional development forums in the world. Featuring speakers exclusively from the Army, this event is the perfect way to get an inside look at the needs, goals, challenges, and focus for the Army in the coming year.
- Executive Leadership Conference (October 25-27 Williamsburg, VA) - Organized by ACT|IAC this retreat-like event provides a unique atmosphere for government officials and industry executives to network and discuss innovative approaches to federal challenges. With a theme of "Government 2020 - Imagine the Possibilities," this year's event will be more forward leaning than ever.

- MILCOM (October 26-28 Tampa, FL) - Focused on military communications, this year's theme is joint-level collaboration. The event will bring together military communication professionals from all branches along with industry partners to create a great atmosphere for actionable collaboration.
- I/ITSEC (November 30-December 4 Orlando, FL) - The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference is focused on modeling, simulation, and training for the DoD. The event features presentations of peer-reviewed papers, an exhibit hall, a games competition, and even sessions for STEM teachers and secondary school students.
- AOC International Symposium and Convention (December 1-3 Washington, DC) - In its 52nd year, this symposium is the leading trade event of the global Electronic Warfare and Signals Intelligence market. This event provides a way for technology vendors to meet with government buyers in the $7 billion market for EW and SIGINT equipment and services. This year's event is specifically focused on the mounting cyber security challenges with the theme of "Synchronize EW and Cyber to Achieve Spectrum Dominance." Speakers include military officials from the U.S. and ally countries.
- Government Contract Management Symposium (December 14-15 Washington, DC) - organized by the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), this event provides training --CPEs available-- for contract professionals in government and industry. With rapidly changing dynamics in the contracting workforce and policy, this event is a great training experience for today's contract workforce.
