Joint Critical Infrastructure Partnership Webinar - Critical Infrastructure Security & Resilience

The hour-long Webinar consists of three 15-minute presentations and will be broadcasted on:

• Wednesday, November 20, 2013; 1:00 - 2:00 pm EST; and
• Thursday, November 21, 2013; 3:00 - 4:00 pm EST.

November - Critical Infrastructure Security & Resilience: Topics focus on tools and resources for improving the overall security of a critical infrastructure asset or facility:

• Office of Bombing Prevention (OBP): IED Awareness/Bomb Threat Management - Want to improve your ability to manage IED threats? The OBP mission is to protect life and critical infrastructure by building capabilities within the general public and across the private and public sectors to prevent, protect against, respond to, and mitigate bombing incidents.
• Protective Security Advisors- Enhanced Critical Infrastructure Protection (ECIP) Initiative - Establishes/enhances the DHS Protective Security Advisor's (PSA) relationship with facility owners and operators, while also informing owners and operators of the importance of their facilities and need to be vigilent.
• National Infrastructure Coordinating Center (NICC) - Seeking incident and threat notifications? The NICC, both an operational component of the Office of Infrastructure Protection and the critical infrastrcuture element of the DHS National Operations Center (NOC), is the national physical infrastructure center as designated by the Secretary of Homeland Security. The NICC serves as a national hub dedicated to the security and resilience of critical infrastructure of the United States by providing 24/7 situational awareness, information sharing, and fostering a unity of effort.
