Strata Conference: Making data work

Save The Date!

Strata Conference: Inspirational and practical

In 2011 at the first Strata Conference, there was a lot of emphasis on “what is data science?” as corporations and organizations were just becoming aware of the power and potential of big data. At Strata 2014, with the wide-spread adoption of new data tools and methods, we’ll not only be looking at what is possible, but also go deep into what we’re successfully doing now.

Strata sells out every year because we bring together the best minds in data to dive into the complex issues and opportunities shaping big data. It’s fast-paced, focused, and deeply practical. Attendees are not just looking for a clear perspective on the future of data—they’re looking for the analytics, architectures, tools, and technologies they need to successfully use data right now.

Do you have a great idea, compelling case study, effective new analytic approach, or deep technical skills? How about road-tested experience with analytic stacks, feature engineering, technologies beyond Hadoop, or architecture and workflows (to name just a few ideas)? We’ll put you in front of an intelligent and engaged audience and let you make your mark. We're also looking for stories and innovation rich in detail from a variety of industries: the worlds of finance, web, media, retail, telecoms, government, and more.

The call for speakers is now open, and we'd love to see you onstage, presenting on any of the following topics:
