Preparing for the Next Ebola

ICF International will a host a live, online discussion on the necessary steps U.S. federal, state, and local agencies and their private sector healthcare partners should take to better prepare for the next emerging infectious disease.

Issues of global health know no borders in our increasingly interconnected and globalized world. Lesser-known diseases may present enormous challenges for national security, global trade and transportation, political stability, and development. As U.S. Federal agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and their many state, local, and international partners take precautions to prevent further spread of diseases such as Ebola in the United States, it is imperative to ensure the preparedness of the U.S. health care system at all levels.
