DHS New York City Supply Chain RRAP Small Group Workshop
Overview:
This is a small group workshop supporting the New York City Critical Supply Chain project, a 2016 initiative of the Regional Resiliency Assessment Program (RRAP).
This project is studying the transportation networks within the City that support critical supply chain logistics. The goal is to enable better information sharing and coordination through the development of a common operating picture of New York City’s critical supply chains to ensure the City can better prepare for and respond to disasters. The complexity of New York City’s logistics networks means that collaboration is a critical component to the success of the project.
The workshop is composed of representatives from public agencies currently working on supply chain related studies. The purpose of this meeting is to review complementary initiatives and resources and gather information about how those organizations can benefit from this project.
