DHS New York City Supply Chain RRAP Kickoff
Overview:
This is the official kickoff meeting for the New York City Critical Supply Chain project, a 2016 initiative of the Regional Resiliency Assessment Program (RRAP).
This project is studying the transportation networks within the City that support critical supply chain logistics. The goal is to enable better information sharing and coordination through the development of a common operating picture of New York City’s critical supply chains to ensure the City can better prepare for and respond to disasters. The complexity of New York City’s logistics networks means that collaboration is a critical component to the success of the project.
The meeting will include stakeholders in the supply chain network such as regional associations, transportation agencies, and private transportation companies. The purpose of this meeting will be to gain a holistic view of the NYC supply chain and incorporate unique perspectives and industry expertise into the project.
