Threat Assessment Workshop - Individuals Exhibiting Concerning Behavior
This training will describe how a comprehensive threat assessment program can help to prevent mass shootings, school shootings, workplace violence, and other forms of targeted violence that impact communities across the United States. Included is an overview of Secret Service methodologies for preventing assassinations, and a description of how this approach can be adapted to prevent other forms of targeted violence. All content is based on the operational research conducted by the Secret Service’s National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC), and will highlight the proactive approach of identifying, assessing, and managing individuals exhibiting concerning behavior
