"Our conception of national security is much broader than the traditional focus on military threats and solutions, it includes financial security, commerce security, and health security.  Today we are hearing the Biden administration speak in these terms when discussing the economy, the pandemic and cyber attacks. It is important to understand the “global” national security ecosystem. Threats originate from around the world and land on our shores and in our systems.  Pandemics, cyber attacks, etc. don’t respect geographic boundaries."
