Ransom DDoS attacks are on the rise and new attack trends are beginning to emerge. Network infrastructures that are exposed to the Internet need the same level of protection as web facing assets. Due to the changing nature of attacks with respect to size, persistence, and even duration, implementing DDoS protections must be a core part of any modern enterprise. In this session, we will discuss what we're seeing in the network DDoS space, how to handle ransom DDoS letters, and the best approaches to protecting your network.

Our speaker, Cavin Kindsvogel, is the Head of Americas - Go-to-Market Strategy for New Products at Cloudflare. He has worked at Cloudflare for 3+ years taking several new products to market across both performance and security lines of business. Currently Cavin is focused on helping Cloudflare’s global enterprise customers protect their networks from DDoS attacks. He received a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Emory University and MBA from IESE Business School.
