SVIP Demo Week
The DHS Science and Technology Directorate’s (S&T) Silicon Valley Innovation Program (SVIP) is pleased to invite you to join us September 14–17, 2021 from 12–4pm ET each day for our inaugural virtual SVIP Virtual Demo Week.
SVIP Demo Week is a showcase of 26 SVIP-funded startups and their projects supporting DHS components. Each showcase will also feature a panel of government and industry experts discussing cutting-edge industry trends and their use cases. Join us to learn about innovation in aviation, interoperability, artificial intelligence, and COVID-19 response and mitigation.
About SVIP
SVIP was established in 2015 to tackle the hardest problems faced by DHS and the Homeland Security Enterprise. SVIP expands DHS S&T’s reach to find new technologies that strengthen national security with the goal of reshaping how government, entrepreneurs, and industry work together to find cutting-edge solutions.
SVIP is designed to lower the barriers of entry for early stage startups to engage with DHS and incorporate DHS's requirements into their commercial products using DHS's accelerated contract vehicle. We offer U.S. and international start-ups up to $2M in nondilutive funding over 24 months to carry out prototype projects and possibly transition successful projects to production.
