Getting In Front of Customers (SITREP Briefing)

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF) is often viewed as a style of writing in the military where the author gets to the point immediately. In the case of our SITREP Briefings program, we're asking our guests to establish why it matters, first, and then dive into details.

These are sessions where you'll want to make sure you did wrist exercises, because you'll want to take plenty of notes. We're inviting thought leaders from Government and Industry to get you up to speed and to field your questions when they wrap up.

Our presenter this month is Col. Benjamin Stinson, USMC Ret., Founder & President, Fed Sherpas.

Col. Stinson brings 27 years of faithful service to our Nation as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. His assignments in uniform included:

• Deputy Program Manager for Unmanned Air Systems NAVAIR
• Program Manager, Air Defense Weapons and Unmanned Systems
• Project Manager, Robotic Systems Joint Project Office, PEO Ground Combat Systems
• Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA)
• Executive Director, Enterprise IT Portfolio

All of this to help you understand why we’ve asked him to provide a SITREP on getting in front of customers (okay, and buyers, too), to increase your visibility for opportunities.

Here's the plan:

• We begin at 0830 hours. Arrive early for networking. (If you're on time, you're late!)
• Breakfast is served at 0845 hours.
• Audience introductions (Your name and company, please.) begin at 0900 hours.
• We introduce our guest and the discussion gets underway at 0910 hours.
• Q&A and networking ensues after our guest concludes.
• The event ends at 1000 hours.
