Quantum Speaker Series Presents: Recent Advances in Application-Oriented Performance Benchmarks for Quantum Computing



This talk will cover recent work by the Quantum Economic Development Consortium Standards Committee, as well as other players, in advancing the level of sophistication and general availability of benchmarking techniques for evaluating the performance of quantum computers. It will include an overview of the motivation behind these works and their positioning within a broader effort to foster the development of standards and benchmarks for quantum computing technologies. Time will be allocated for questions and discussion about topics relevant to the audience.
