EW in the New Threat Environment

Our adversaries have developed an impressive array of upgrades to the threats we face; they are designed specifically to overcome the ways our Electronic Warfare systems have been so successful for so many years. This webinar covers the nature of those upgrades and generally what we are required to do to overcome them. The new threat generation(s) have longer range – making stand-off jamming more difficult. They also have significant electronic protection features – to counter some of our best techniques against legacy systems. Most have “home on jam” capability making self-protection jamming dangerous.

In this webinar, we will talk about the upgrade genealogy of missiles, tracking radars, acquisition radars, anti-aircraft guns and infrared guided weapons. We will also overview the new techniques for facing these new threats.
