Open Source Intelligence Conference at The Citadel

The Citadel’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences, led by the Departments of Intelligence and Security Studies and Political Science, will host its second OSINT Conference on 29-31 October 2025 at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. We look forward to your participation in our second exciting conference as we turn our discussion to the issues of artificial intelligence and OSINT, and the use of OSINT to confront and tackle the hot national security issues facing our country.

We are bringing together government, industry, and academia to broaden last year’s discussion to include technology within the information and OSINT space. We will host a variety of panels covering the use of artificial intelligence and OSINT while demonstrating its practicality and use internationally in multi-intelligence discipline fusion centers and analysis to tackle hot topics worldwide. One panel will focus on counternarcotics, cartels, and the southern border. We want to drive partnerships, innovation, technology, tradecraft, education, and workforce development to support U.S. national security.

Our lead keynote speaker is U.S. Air Force Colonel Ty Gilbert who is currently serving as the Commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s Intelligence Fusion Centre who will discuss the importance of OSINT in confronting key national security issues in Europe. Click here to listen to The Information Advantage podcast interview of Colonel Gilbert.

Participation and attendance will include the U.S. military, intelligence, law enforcement, and diplomatic communities, our private sector sponsors and leaders in the OSINT field, and our colleagues in academia.

Most importantly we hope this conference provides America’s future leaders, The Citadel’s Cadets and Graduate students, the opportunity to interact with and learn from you and your organizations.
