BENS CEO Visit with the SE: Luncheon Discussion and Sporting Clays
Join BENS President & CEO Gen. Timothy Ray, USAF (ret.), for a special event during his visit to the Southeast region — a lunch discussion with Michael Sharp, Department of State Portfolio Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, followed by an afternoon of sporting clays at The Burge Club.
In theme with BENS’s Strengthening Supply Chains campaign, Michael will share his experiences and expertise on nuclear energy in the U.S. and abroad. He will provide an overview of Oak Ridge National Lab, discuss small modular reactors (SMRs), as well as discuss the Missile Technology Control Regime and the Military Civil Fusion plan of the People’s Republic of China, and other experiences during his time engaging with foreign nuclear regulatory authorities.
Following the discussion, Gen. Ray and BENS guests will conduct an afternoon of sporting clays at The Burge Club.
This promises to be yet another thought-provoking and educational event followed by a fun afternoon of sporting clays for those who can stay. Space is limited. Additional costs for the sporting clay portion will be assessed separately. Responses will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Invitations may be extended to guests after checking with Sid Talley first.
