Architecting AI: Building and Orchestrating Agents

A hands-on workshop

Unlock the full potential of Agent Development Kit (ADK) in this immersive hands-on session. We begin with the core primitives: engineering robust agents capable of tool use and structured output, tested across CLI and Browser environments. We’ll then pivot to advanced system design, focusing on the Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol.

Part 1: Hands-on with Agent Development Kit (70 min)
Build custom AI agents using Python and the Agent Development Kit (ADK). Learn ADK interfaces, project structure, and create a multi-agent example, progressing from a simple workflow to a complex system.

Part 2: Connect to Remote Agents with ADK and A2A SDK (70 min)
Deploy your ADK agent as a remote agent using the Agent2Agent (A2A) Python SDK. Cover AgentCard preparation, A2A Server deployment, command-line querying, and enabling inter-agent communication. Learn how A2A protocol enables an interconnected AI ecosystem allowing agents to integrate and share capabilities.
