Arthur O'Meara is a nationally recognized speaker and consultant with 26+ years in international trade and trade compliance. As principal of O'Meara and Associates, Inc., a boutique consulting firm near Austin, he helps organizations build practical compliance programs.
His expertise covers import compliance, export controls, transfer pricing and valuation, HTSUS classification, service provider management, and Incoterms® Rules—he's one of only two ICC-Certified Trainers for Incoterms® 2020 Rules in the U.S. He has managed CTPAT validations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
A frequent conference speaker known for translating complex trade concepts clearly, he's presented for AIM, ICPA, AAEI, ACI, SBDC, and others, and has lectured at DePaul and Loyola University Chicago.
Credentials: U.S. Customs Broker License, ICC-Certified Trainer for Incoterms® 2020 Rules, MBA from DePaul University, former President of the International Trade Association of Greater Chicago, and member of the Illinois District Export Council (appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce).
