IAEM-USA Region 7 Symposium 2026

The IAEM-USA Region 7 Conference brings together emergency management professionals from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska for two days of training, collaboration, and networking. Attendees include local, county, state, tribal, nonprofit, private sector, and federal partners. 

The 2026 conference theme, Anchored in the Heartland: Strengthening Regional Resilience Across the Plains, reflects the importance of strong regional partnerships, shared learning, and coordinated planning across the Midwest. Sessions will focus on emerging threats, operational coordination, leadership, and practical tools that strengthen whole-community resilience. The event will include general sessions, breakout trainings, and networking opportunities for both new and experienced professionals.

Join IAEM-USA Region 7 for our fifth annual conference scheduled for July 29-30, 2026, at the University of Nebraska - Omaha, 6708 Pine Street, Omaha, NE 68106, in Mammel Hall, Room 112/113. Specific building/room assignments will be provided prior to the conference.
