Lieutenant Colonel Brian P. Murray, Commander of the 35th Intelligence Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland

Lieutenant Colonel Brian P. Murray is the Commander of the 35th Intelligence Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. He leads over 270 Airmen to provide operational and tactical level intelligence to the Air Force, the Joint Force and national cyber defense and exploitation operations.

Lieutenant Colonel Murray graduated and commissioned from the University of South Florida in 2007. He has held a variety of intelligence and cyber positions throughout his career while deploying multiple times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Resolute Support. Lt Col Murray served as the Director of Operations for the 694th Intelligence Support Squadron at Osan AB Korea, the Regional Director for East Africa and the Military Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Prior to assuming command, Lt Col Murray served on the Headquarters Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Cyber Effects Operations as the Deputy Chief, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Talent Management Division and 14N Deputy Career Field
