Our Symposium provides a national forum for industry, government and academia to work together to help solve the challenges of cybersecurity, community cyber readiness and national defense.

The DoD CIO will host the Inaugural Cyber Workforce Summit with support from AFCEA International. In order to succeed in today's environment, the Department of Defense must remain aggressive in its innovation and development of the Digital Workforce. This two-day conference will provide a forum where DoD CIO representatives will share the latest information about supporting the Department's cyber mission with the most capable and dominant workforce. The conference will also provide the opportunity for the Cyber community to hear directly from DoD and Service leadership and subject matter experts. While there are myriad sources of information related to the development of technology, few authoritative sources of ground truth exist and decision-makers are often left wondering what is hype and what is actually possible in the near- and mid-term time horizons.
