With over 7,000 individual and corporate members, our chapter boasts the largest membership in the AFCEA International community. Our chapter is blessed with the hometown advantage of having the Pentagon in our back yard, the Nation's Capital right next door, and the backbone of the Internet at our center.  This means that our Monthly luncheons, IT Days, Breakfast and special events connect you with Government speakers that provide current policy and future program technology content with relevant business connections to meet your bottom-line goals.

We connect with our membership through a variety of meetings and events to enhance your experience and provide an ethical setting to connect with Government.  These include our popular monthly luncheons that run September through June featuring leading Government speakers on how information technology enables National Security and other relevant DOD topics.  We also hold larger one Day IT Day conferences featuring speakers on information technology from the Army, Navy, USMC, Air Force, DOD and other Federal agencies.  We also provide our members with more intimate settings to connect one on one with Industry  and Government leadership including: Small Business Breakfasts, Annual Golf Outing, Women in NOVA speaker series and our popular Young AFCEAN social events.

The 16th Annual Texas Technology Summit will be held on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 at the Norris Conference Center - Houston/CityCentre (816 Town & Country Blvd, Suite 210, Houston, TX 77024) from 8am-4pm.

This B-B event is targeted for the Technology and Security community.  Attendees consist of IT/IS Executives and Direct reports across all verticals within the state of Texas interested in Networking, Researching/Learning, Career Advancement, and Purchasing. Attend the Texas Technology Summit to get the right tools and make vital connections to best prepare your company for the broad spectrum of ever-changing technology trends.

Our IT Days require months of planning and are a great way to connect with industry and government.  You will be part of a larger team that will plan and execute form both a strategic and tactical day of support level.
