The 2026 Policy Council Midyear will be held April 10-12, 2026, at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas.
Policy Council Midyear is designed to increase engagement, activity, and collaboration between committees and sections; and to ensure the work of the groups aligns with the direction of each Policy Council.
All committees will meet in addition to individual section leadership.

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition is the largest and most impactful law enforcement event of the year – more than 16,000 public safety professionals come to learn new techniques, advance their knowledge and careers, and equip their department for ongoing success.
The three tenants of conference are training, networking, and exposition hall education. There are more than 200 educational workshops offered each year on a variety of topics important to the profession.
