The 2018 Space Resiliency Summit encourages members of the DoD, Intelligence Community, military services, and critical organizations to come together to discuss solutions and techniques to exploit the space domain. • Developing space systems that are built to fight and win in a contested environment
  • Ensuring that the US remains mission-ready in space and cyberspace capabilities to prepare for and combat against adversaries
  • Efficiently acquiring commercial space technology to deliver military requirements in a timely manner
  • Encouraging cooperability amongst each of the services to ensure their missions have shared goals in their efforts to dominate space
  • Working to increase interoperability of USAF assets to assume a more resilient position in space

Why you should attend this year’s Summit:

  • This educational summit will bring together senior Intelligence officials, government leaders, academia, and solution providers to discuss the developing technology, infrastructure, and policy surrounding the space domain’s role in upholding the US’ national security. Due to the nation’s reliance on space for communications, reconnaissance, and missile detection, we must have a way to defend such systems so that our military is not compromised.
  • Participants gathered will discuss the ways in which the US must actively explore options to protect the critical infrastructure and satellite systems we have in space which are vulnerable to physical and cyberattack. Major international competitors continue to mature their space program at a rapid pace and due to this, advanced space-based weaponry and technology have never been more crucial. This event will allow a platform for key government agencies to partner with commercial organizations to advance our space equipment in an already contested and congested environment.
  • DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summits’ content and focus areas. We seek to bring together the respected leaders from US military commands, leading research centers, government agencies, and industry technology providers. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
