Creating a Risk-Resilient, Agile Enterprise

Young AFCEA Bethesda’s 13th Annual Senior Government Executive Forum brings together senior and emerging government IT leaders with industry to examine innovative technologies, techniques, and acquisition practices used to create a secure, modern, and responsive enterprise.

The Senior Executive Roundtables

In each breakout room, a Senior Government Executive and Emerging Government Leader will be paired together for an insightful industry-moderated discussion. Each table will have focused conversation around one of these critical topic areas: Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, Data and Analytics, or Enterprise Risk Management.

How are agencies addressing emerging cybersecurity threats and adjusting their cyber strategies as the public and private sector increases remote operations?
How are agency digital transformation strategies shifting based on the acceleration of need for organizations to transform and respond to an unprecedented change in customer behavior?
How are agencies using modern data techniques to better deliver on mission, serve the public, and steward resources?
How can agencies create a proactive risk culture designed to better identify, prepare for, and mitigate the unexpected?

The InnovateIT Awards

The Senior Government Executive Forum will also feature the presentation of the InnovateIT Awards. The 2020 InnovateIT Awards program will recognize individuals or teams who exhibit qualities of successful leadership across the following areas: security, automation and modernization.

An Emerging Leader Award (aged 40 or younger) will be given to a rising star within the government leadership community based on similar success in the above areas. The program will also recognize the Government Innovation Leader of the Year and the Industry Innovation Leader of the Year -- two individuals who have exemplified outstanding management to drive forward innovative initiatives that advance the mission of their organizations or the state of federal IT.
