Don't Get Hacked! How to Build a Security Awareness Program for Your Agency
In 2022, being aware of the security threats against your agency is critical. What’s even more important, however, is ensuring that your employees have the skills to combat the threats that will inevitably arise. While many organizations use security awareness education as a tool to protect themselves and their employees, it is not always easy to know what should be included, or how best to go about actually employing the plan.
In this webinar, Jim Emerson will walk through some of the reasons that security awareness programs are needed, including several case studies of recent cyber-attacks in which having increased security awareness through an established program could have made all the difference. TJ Nicholls will then cover how Nlets – the International Justice and Public Safety Network built their program, and what techniques they recommend to keep your organization safe. Then, together, they will host a conversation about how attendees may build their own security awareness programs to protect their agencies.
