Cryptography Simplified: Addressing the Changing Needs of Government Agencies, Integrators and Vendors

Cryptography is everywhere.  As a key security control that enables privacy, security, and trust in our digital world, it is highly regulated. Yet, after years of being a somewhat sleepy topic in the cybersecurity world, cryptography is now a hot topic in the Public Sector for at least two reasons.  First, ongoing migration from FIPS 140-2 to FIPS 140-3 is generating waves of activity to comply with the new NIST standard.  As an even larger challenge, the advent of quantum computers threatens to make our existing public key cryptography unsafe to use in the near future.  As a result, organizations will need to migrate to new, quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms to remain secure.

Government agencies, integrators, and vendors relying on encryption face important requirements as they migrate to next-generation cryptography.  They are seeking partners with solutions that are comprehensive and interoperable, maintainable, secure, demonstrably compliant, and commercially supported. SafeLogic is that partner. Founded in 2012, SafeLogic’s FIPS 140 validated, holistic, and interoperable cryptography solutions enable enduring privacy and trust in the ever-changing digital world.

Attendees of this webinar learned about:

  • The critical role cryptography and encryption play in our increasingly digital world, including Zero-Trust initiatives
  • The latest on cryptography regulations, including the transition to FIPS 140-3 and various compliance regiments that call out FIPS 140 (e.g., CMMC 2.0, FedRAMP, DOD APL, Common Criteria, etc.).
  • The risk posed by quantum computers and an update on NIST’s efforts to identify and standardize quantum-resistant encryption algorithms, as well as develop effective migration strategies
  • How many of the world’s top technology firms, integrators, and government agencies use SafeLogic’s software and services to streamline the adoption of FIPS 140-validated classical and post-quantum cryptography
