Health IT Workshop Pt. 2
This event qualifies for 4 CPEs
In the wake of a once-in-a-generation pandemic, the nation’s public health system has never been so important and under such considerable spotlight. Holes in the existing public health infrastructure — at the federal, state and local levels — require both innovative technologies and dedicated leadership to address.
For hospitals and health care providers to provide better patient care, they need IT innovations that promote an agile, fully digital patient-centered system that incorporates telehealth, electronic health records and patient portals with simple scheduling options. Emerging technology needs to augment these systems, providing additional capabilities to the underlying infrastructure.
During this workshop, Government Executive, Nextgov/FCW and Route Fifty will bring together perspectives from across the public sector on how emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, virtual reality training and 3D printing are reshaping the Health IT landscape across the nation.
