The European theater serves as a critical strategic crossroads and a primary hub for international defense operations. Its importance is rooted in its geographic position as a gateway to the Middle East and North Africa, enabling a wide range of operations across multiple theaters.
As a center for regional stability and home to Special Forces with global prestige, the theater is currently undergoing one of the largest rearmament efforts in recent years.
This shift is driven by a commitment to meet the targets set at the June 2025 Hague NATO Summit, which mandate a progressive increase in military spending from 2% to 5% of GDP by 2035.
