Upcoming USENIX Events

SREcon26 Americas is a gathering of engineers who care deeply about site reliability, systems engineering, and working with complex distributed systems at scale. SREcon strives to challenge both those new to the profession as well as those who have been involved in it for decades. The conference has a culture of critical thought, deep technical insights, continuous improvement, and innovation.

The 23rd USENIX Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation (NSDI '26) will be held on May 4–6, 2026, in Renton, WA, USA. NSDI focuses on the design principles, implementation, and practical evaluation of networked and distributed systems. Our goal is to bring together researchers from across the networking and systems community to foster a broad approach to addressing overlapping research challenges.

The 2026 USENIX Conference on Privacy Engineering Practice and Respect (PEPR '26) will take place at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, in Santa Clara, CA, USA, on June 1–2, 2026.
PEPR is focused on designing and building products and systems with privacy and respect for their users and the societies in which they operate. Our goal is to improve the state of the art and practice of building for privacy and respect and to foster a deeply knowledgeable community of both privacy practitioners and researchers who collaborate towards that goal.

In-Person registration is SOLD OUT. Virtual Registration is still open
The 31st USENIX Security Symposium will take place on August 10–12, 2022, at the Boston Marriott Copley Place in Boston, MA, USA. The USENIX Security Symposium brings together researchers, practitioners, system administrators, system programmers, and others interested in the latest advances in the security and privacy of computer systems and networks.

The 25th USENIX Conference on File and Storage Technologies (FAST '27) will take place on February 23–25, 2027, in Renton, WA, USA. FAST will bring together storage-system researchers and practitioners to explore new directions in the design, implementation, evaluation, and deployment of storage systems.

Test of Time Award Nominations
Submit a nomination for the FAST Test of Time Award! The award honors FAST papers published 10+ years ago that have had a significant impact within our community of storage-system researchers and practitioners and beyond. Nominations received by December 14, 2026, will be considered for the 2027 award. Any nominations received after that date will be considered for future years.
